- Learn to identify common themes in your important life experiences to help you choose how to order your book
- Learn how to create truthful and compelling hooks that keep a reader engaged
- Learn a method for actually producing your book in a timely fashion
-This workshop will involve some lecture, some writing exercises, feedback, and Q&A.
W.A. Fulkerson is an award-winning screenwriter, novelist, and ghostwriter with 15 years of experience spanning multiple genres. He has been published under his own name by Enclave, Oasis, and Perennial Press, and as a ghostwriter he has written for Foresight Publishers, the Waterman Communications Group, and is now head writer at Evergreen Ghostwriters. Fulkerson has written over 20 books; he excels in writing business, memoir, self-help, religious non-fiction, and speculative fiction (fantasy, sci-fi, etc.). On the screenwriting side, he has worked with Arbella Studios, Action Studios, Beyond the Porch, Eleventh Hour, Family Theater Productions, Jubilee Media, and many others. Fulkerson’s screenwriting talent has been recognized by the Los Angeles Asian-American-Pacific-Islander Film Festival, the International Christian Film Festival, and others. Fulkerson is an expert on structure, tying narrative themes together, and emotional impact in writing.
