Ballet Dalton

Founded in 1990, Ballet Dalton offers a premier performance opportunity for dedicated pre‑professional dancers. Known for its commitment to excellence, the school has developed an accomplished ensemble, with dancers accepted into the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program, top national summer intensives, and leading college dance programs. The season features signature productions including the enchanting Snow Queen, the Spring Recital, the Evening Concert, and select community performances. Participation is by invitation or audition, providing a rewarding experience for serious young artists.

Master Tier dancers of Ballet Dalton are proud to present this piece to you! As a group they worked to select the music, the theme, and came up with the movements that will be shown in the dance. Monica Velasquez. This dance transforms friendship into movement. The dancers drew inspiration from their own memories and experiences that come from knowing each other deeply. The choreography reflects the way friendships evolve yet remain grounding, and each movement mirrors how the dancers have worked together to form a tight knit group - one that is able to work hard and choreograph a dance together. The song reflects how friendship can be a source of comfort, and that is definitely the case for this group.
