Policies + Procedures

Session

Our 2025-2026 school year runs from August 11, 2025 through May 15, 2026.

Withdrawal Policy

Registering for a class and/or lesson is a commitment to attend as scheduled. If for any reason you or your student cannot continue, the following will apply:

  • The parent, guardian, or responsible party must notify the Guild through written notice, verbal notice, or by using our online system.  Accounts are charged for classes until a withdrawal request is received.  Thirty-day notice must be given for all classes.
  • Students withdrawing from class or lessons with less than a 30-day notice must pay for the following month.  If a student is withdrawing from class or lessons with less than 30 days’ notice they will be responsible for the following month.
  • Notification via phone or in person is required to drop from a workshop or a camp. Request for withdrawal received at least 3 weeks prior to the start date will receive a full refund, less a $20 cancelation fee. 50% refund if cancelled 2 weeks before and no refund if cancelled the week before the start of the workshop or camp.

To Register for Classes

Visit our website at www.creativeartsguild.org and follow the link to “Registration Portal” registration system under classes.

For information about classes, call 706.278.0168.

There is a yearly registration fee of $40 per family that is due at the time of registration.

Please see Departmental Guidelines and Polices for more information on session and monthly tuition.

Inclement Weather

The Creative Arts Guild will follow Dalton Public Schools closings for inclement weather.

Please follow us on social media for up to date information.

Closings, as well as other important information, are sent out via text message and email.  Please ensure you're subscribed to text and email notifications in the Parent Portal, and that your contact information is up to date

Registration Fee

Families are charged an annual registration fee of $40 per family per year for the 2025-2026 school year (August-May).  This fee helps to cover administrative costs, overhead, and to offset the cost of the online registration system throughout the year.  This fee also holds your student's spot in their class.  Registration fees are billed once yearly per family and covers all members of the household in any Guild classes with which they participate.

Tuition

Class tuition is due by the 10th day of each month. Late tuition will result in a $10 charge. Fall tuition consists of monthly tuition due for August through May.  Workshops are billed out by session.  Enrollment in any class or workshop must be paid for at the time of registration along with a registration fee.  Once a student is enrolled in a class/workshop they are enrolled until the end of the session or until a withdrawal is completed.

Auto-Pay Policy for Monthly Tuition, Costumes & Performance Fees

To streamline our billing process and ensure timely payments, all monthly tuition, registration fees, costume, and performance fees will be charged automatically through our auto-pay system. By enrolling in our program, you agree to this policy for all tuition, costume, and performance-related charges.

  • Payment Method: It is the responsibility of the account holder to ensure a valid credit/debit card is on file and updated as needed.
  • Late Fees: A $10 late fee will be applied to any tuition, costume, or performance fee not paid by the due date.
