Experience the joy of movement together! This engaging 30-minute weekly class is designed for young dancers and a participating adult (one adult per child), fostering both physical development and a strong parent-child connection. Each session includes gentle stretching, body awareness activities, and introductory traveling steps, all practiced hand-in-hand with a parent or instructor. The class concludes with a special creative movement segment, encouraging imagination and quality bonding time. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and attend in either socks or bare feet—ready to move, connect, and have fun! |

In an atmosphere of fun, this class is designed to introduce the young student to the world of dance. While learning all of their ballet basics, the class is formatted in a creative way to hold the young dancer’s attention and keep them interested. Children will develop an awareness of music and rhythms and will learn to use their bodies and imaginations. All students have the option of wearing traditional pink tights and ballet slippers, or flesh-toned tights and ballet slippers. To purchase your dancewear please visit the Guild Shop. Classical Ballet and Pointe (4 years and up) |

Ballet is a timeless and elegant art form that builds strength, discipline, and grace. It offers a full-body workout suitable for all ages, helping to tone muscles, improve posture, and enhance alignment. For dedicated students, pointe work may begin around age 10 after meeting the necessary requirements. Students may wear either traditional pink, or flesh-toned tights and ballet slippers. Level-specific leotards featuring the Guild logo are required and available for purchase at the Guild Shop. Be sure to select the correct leotard color for your dancer’s class level. |

The Guild Dance Ensemble offers a dynamic space for fast-learning beginners and experienced dancers (ages 12 and up) who are passionate about improving their technique without pursuing a pre-professional track. This group is perfect for those with prior dance training or motivated teens new to dance who learn quickly. Pointe work is not required but is available to eligible students. Dancers may choose between traditional pink or flesh-toned tights and ballet slippers and Capezio Skintone 60 jazz shoes should be worn for jazz class. These vibrant dance forms, set to popular music, are high-energy, rhythm-driven, and full of personality. Not only are they incredibly fun, but they also sharpen your musicality and sense of timing—skills every well-rounded dancer (and actor) needs. BALLET DALTON
Founded in 1990, Ballet Dalton was created as a premier performance opportunity for dedicated pre-professional dancers. Known for its commitment to excellence, the school has developed a polished and accomplished ensemble, with dancers accepted into the prestigious Georgia Governor’s Honors Program, top national summer intensives, and leading college dance programs. The Company’s season features signature productions including the enchanting Snow Queen, the vibrant Spring Recital, the elegant Evening Concert, and select community performances. Participation is by invitation or audition only, offering a rewarding experience for serious young artists.

Created exclusively for Ballet Dalton Company Members, this elite class provides an exciting opportunity to further strengthen technique and artistry in ballet and contemporary styles. Centered around preparation for the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix, each dancer will train in and rehearse a classical variation or contemporary solo to compete in the YAGP regional competition in Atlanta, GA. In addition to YAGP, dancers will shine in extra performances at the Spring Concert, Recital, and select community events. The $75 monthly fee includes a special discounted rate for a 30-minute private lesson each month—an incredible value for dancers ready to take their training to the next level. |

PRIVATE LESSONS (ALL AGES)
Private lessons are a valuable addition to regular classes, offering personalized attention to refine technique, deepen understanding of dance fundamentals, and enhance overall skill development. The Snow Queen |
|
All ballet classes ages 5 and up participate in The Snow Queen. The performance fee is $50 for the first dancer in each family and $30 for each additional dancer, due by September 15. The production will take place November 20–23, 2025, at the Dalton High School Theatre, with mandatory in-theater rehearsals scheduled for November 17–19. This fee helps cover costs such as facility rental, lighting, performance video, and other off-site production expenses. It also includes a complimentary digital download of the performance. |

Spring Recital |
|
All Creative Arts Guild dancers will participate in our annual Spring Recital, a celebration of their hard work and growth throughout the year. Performances are scheduled for May 15 (Intermediate 3’s, 4’s, Ballet Dalton, and Ensemble) and May 16, 2026 (entire school). Required in-theater rehearsals will take place May 12-14, 2026. Recital Fee: A $50 per-family Spring Performance Fee is due by February 15. This fee helps cover theater rental, lighting, and other off-site production costs, and includes a complimentary digital download of the performance. Recital Costume Fees: A recital costume fee of $90 per class/per costume will be due no later than October 15th. You may pay costume fees in installments prior to October if needed. |

Auto-Pay Policy for Costumes & Performance Fees & Tuition |
|
To streamline our billing process and ensure timely payments all costume fees, and performance fees will be charged automatically through our secure auto-pay system. Costume and performance fees will be charged by their posted due dates, which will be announced via newsletter. It is the responsibility of the account holder to ensure a valid credit or debit card is on file and updated as needed. Late fee will be applied to any costume, tuition, or performance fee not paid by the due date. If a payment is declined, the account holder will be notified and must resolve the issue within five business days to avoid additional late fees or a disruption in participation. |
